    Peaceful Protesters Pepper Sprayed At The Smithsonian In D.C.

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     SSWIDTMS attended the demonstration outside the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum on October 8. He interviews people a man in attendance who was pepper sprayed when he and a group of others attempted to enter the lobby of the museum. The video he captured documents the demonstration and the release of one the only person arrested at the scene.

    UPDATE

    It has been reported by the Washington Post that a conservative blogger knowingly infiltrated the rally and actively escalated the situation which resulted in the pepper spraying.

    A group of people from the Stop The Machine, October 6th D.C. Occupation were marching to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum to protest their glorification of war and use of unethical war technology by having an exhibit on the unmanned Predator Drone. Before they even walked inside they were pepper sprayed. Here is what happened after the pepper spraying.
