Occupy Denver - police in strong numbers ~300

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     the0wl sends us this dramatic photo of a protester facing the riot police in Denver, Colorado. She says: 'This particular gathering happened just a day after the Denver police had made 22 arrests and tried to shut the camp down. The entire Capitol Hill area was filled with hundreds (perhaps thousands) of people and police had the park adjacent to the Capitol building blocked off. The protesters sat down in the middle of the street at 14th and Broadway, arms locked together. Shortly after this photo was taken, the police moved in with (I believe tear gas) and began making arrests. The groups then began filtering into the busy streets surrounding Capitol Hill, blocking traffic and beating their drums. Police eventually shut down Colfax Ave., a high-traffic street that runs through Capitol Hill.'
