    Wake Up -- Occupy DC

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     schmiddi shares this photo of a demonstrator at Occupy DC, taken on October 15 in Washington. He says: 'Having lived here in DC, I have seen my fair share of protests of the last couple of years (and I have always tried to capture the human side of each of them, with that I mean the people that go on the street and protest) and I just have on a personal level the most connection with the 'Jobs for Justice' and the 'Occupy DC' movement. What I liked about this very event yesterday was the historic arc it created from today's challenge of economic inequality to the racial inequality during the Martin Luther King's struggles. So the reason I share this specific photo is that I think it combined the different parts of in one shot.'
