Occupy Wall Street Comes To Northeast Iowa

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     MykaG says the occupy movement in Cedar Falls, Iowa is 'starting out small but there's a good possibility it could grow a lot bigger.' The crowd gathered at Overman Park ranges from students at the University of Northern Iowa to Vietnam War-era protesters.
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

Saturday, October 15th, protesters gathered on the campus of the  University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa for a brief rally  before marching about two miles to the site of their occupation in  Overman Park.

After arriving at the park the first order of business was for everyone  to gather at a general assembly and set -up ground rules and committees.

Earlier in the week organizers meet with Cedar Falls Police. As long as  the ground rules aren't broken, the protesters are being allowed to stay  at Overman Park indefinitely. The park is directly across the street  from the city hall and the police station. The police station has  bathrooms that the protesters are allowed to use day or night.
