    Occupy Denmark Camp - photos

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mikkel11 took these pictures on October 15, 16, and 17 to show how the Occupy Denmark protest has progressed. He attended only to document but 'I sympathize with the protestors'.

mikkel11 says the protesters have been staying the night in freezing temperatures. 'I had my camera in one hand, and blankets in the other to give to them. I didn't want them to freeze.'

He says it's 'refreshing that people are approaching this for the 99 percent and not for some small interest group'. Some of the things protested were the 'government are helping the rich, helping the banks, and spending too much money on war'.

Sunny days and freezing cold nights. Today it is the 3rd night young Danes camp out on Copenhagen City Hall Square. With inspiration from the Occupy Wall st. they already have a library, firewood kitchens and a consensus based meeting culture. And as in New York the occupiers are inspired by the Egyptian Revolution in February. They therefore renamed City Hall Square, Tahrir Square.
