Occupy Minnesota protesters, in line with the Occupy Wall Street protests, place tents in Minneapolis on Saturday in defiance of sheriff's orders. One arrest was made for trespassing. Only later, at about 1:00am did the sheriff's deputies take action, removing the tents placed by the protesters. As colder weather returns to Minnesota the Occupy Minnesota group is concerned that the people staying in the park will suffer hypothermia and possibly frostbite without the shelter of tents. The sheriff's office is concerned with public safety.
