Taiwan Animal Cruelty 2/A professional dog trapper that works for Wang’s family caught on action

Video 1 &2: Video that shows Tu hit the dog in the head and made it punce from the ground from different angles. Picture 3: The man in action --Xin-Deng Tu Picture 4: The dog that was trapped and later picked up by Tu (as shown on the video) Picture 5: Rusted Bear Traps found on his truck Picture 6: Lost of Ruested Bear Traps found in his home. Picture 7: The trap Tu placed on the street with bait A professional dog trapper that works for Wang’s family. Caught On Action: a. Date and Time: March 19, 2008 b. Location: country side in Ping-Tung c. Man trapped and attacked dog’s head with a bat: Xin-Deng Tu, pingtung citizen d. The incident: The Kaohsuing Concern Stray Animal Association followed Mr. Xin-Deng Tu for 2 weeks and had finally caught Tu on action. Tu would drive around and place baits and bear traps (this action is against the law) all over Ping-Tung on one day and check whether the traps caught any dogs the next day. Tu has worked as dog trapper (sometimes he would try to pretend and adopt the dog from dog sanctuary) and later sell the dogs to Wang’s family or other dog meat restaurant for numerous years. In the video, we can clearly see that the poor dog was trapped and can not escape. Later Tu showed up and brought a bat with him. Tu approached the dog with the bat and hit it HARD! Hard enough to make dog pounce from the ground then fall. The dog was fainted then Tu picked it up and throw on to his track. The volunteers who took the video thought the poor dog was dead and they were sobbing. The volunteers can’t rescue this dog on action again because of the so called “civil servants” that are responsible for the animal abuse won’t prosecute any dog abuser with law unless there are “actions” as evidence. (Live dogs in cage waiting to be butchered/Dead dogs flesh/butchered dog meats won’t count as “animal abuse” to them!!) Later the volunteer reported this video to Ping-tung Livestock Disease Control Center, and went along with the agents to check out Tu’s house. There are 2 dogs in Tu’s house. The one shown on tape and another yellow dog were crowed in a very small cage. The yellow dog was later diagnosed with the same symptoms – leg was trapped by bear trap and head was heavily punched. Tu claimed that he captured these dogs to “pet” them. They also found large numbers of bear traps and butcher knifes at Tu’s house. Most of them are rusted and with moth-eaten blood stains. Tu always recycles the bear traps and we can only imagine how many dogs stepped on those traps have lost their lives… This case is still in prosecution today (3/29/08) because Tu wouldn’t show up to explain the whole thing! Many of concerned dog lovers have called the Ping-Tung Livestock Disease Control Center, but they won’t take actions go to Tu's house and bring Tu for questioning... Taiwanese strays are in desperate help from *experience and knowledgeable animal protection specialists or groups *to teach Taiwanese government to establish the system correctly and humanely. If everything were reported to the Taiwanese government without national support and supervise, the government would *just take all the dogs in and kill them all *in also inhumane ways. Please refer to this link for how the Taiwanese government put down the shelter dogs: +http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQLnJawo6k0&eurl=+ (All dogs died in fear and desperation…we don’t want to see that happens...) We sincerely hope experience and knowledgeable animal protection specialists or groups can help to provide Taiwanese government ideas to solve the stray dog problem in more HUMANE ways, such was neuter and spay. Thank you very much for your attention. More Brutal Animal Torture by some Taiwanese civilians to come (in translating process): 3. Bear Traps Are All Over in Taiwan – have caused more than thousands of healthy dogs and cats lose their legs and live with restricted freedom for the rest of their lives! 4. Robber bands rapped on dog’s mouths and necks caused dogs’ heads swelled can easily found everywhere in Taiwan 5. A daschund mix found skinned alive and abandoned on the street 6. Disgusting animal tortures done by Taiwanese soldiers. 6. Dogs eating dogs at government owned shelter and back yard or professional breeding farm 7. Dog tortures done by Taiwanese elementary students and college students – what’s wrong with the education? 8. Other unthinkable wicked ways done by Taiwanese civilians to make strays suffer and sometimes cause their lives. 9. What Taiwanese animal rights advocators hope the government to do to help in the stray dog problem?
