Galapagos Islands: Natural treasures |
Galapagos Post Office
In keeping with tradition, you mail your postcards from this "Post Office" by leaving in a barrel for the next visitors to sift through. The postcards are then reviewed for address and the subsequent visitors take those near their homes with the promise to personally hand them to those are supposed to receive them. It may take weeks, months, years but this personal service does happen much to the surprise of the recipients.
