Graduate Students in Paris, France Take A Stand Against Slavery!
- dsashin, CNN iReport producer
Davina Durgana, 23, founded a student chapter of International Justice Mission at The American University of Paris and paired with several other groups on campus to raise awareness about human trafficking. As a bilingual dual Masters degree candidate in Human Rights and Human Trafficking with the Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, she managed to extend her group to French graduate students and recruit them to the cause as well. These universities now hope to enjoy a continued bilingual and multicultural discussion of human trafficking issues and are looking forward to their collaborative efforts against human trafficking. This is what Graduate students in Paris, France are doing to take a Stand Against Slavery.
