I’ll Vote For the First Presidential Candidate Advocating For A Federal Student Loan Default Bail Out Forgiveness Program in America!

Like myself, thousands of others in America, struggle with having defaulted on their guaranteed government student loans (GSL) in this current economic depression. And, America is in a “depression.” Let’s be honest and call I spade a spade; I prefer it that way? Anyone disagree?

          We’ve thus far seen the American government fully willing and capable of bailing out both Wall Street, and persons having defaulted on their home mortgage loans many of which were also government funded and guaranteed.

So Mr. President, why did you forget about all of us former students? Where is our ball out?

          Yeah, I’ve heard the ridiculous arguments from the GOP, it is our own fault, we took out our loans. But so did Wall Street and those persons whom banks foreclosed on their homes.

          I personally blame the United States Government Student Loan Program for the present problems I possess having defaulted on my student loan and this is why:

(1)If the U.S. government student loan program had fully explained to me as a college age student, the fine print and tiny little little legalities of those loan papers, telling me that when I am through attending college, I may have to possess a job paying me enough money to repay the U.S. government student loan program and my loaners, back a minimum amount of money, beginning at about $10,000- monthly, along with an amount of about $20,000- a year interest rate, I would  have NEVER SIGNED THAT DOTTED LINE !!

I for one, am so so sorry, I ever took out approximately $183,000- in student loans to fund my education from the United States governmental loan program in America, you have no idea ! While the U.S. government and my former colleges and universities did ensure all students attend entrance and exit interviews in order to obtain our student loans, they omitted explaining, whereby our interest rates work, and, the possible dangers of flexible interests rates and the like. Little things students necessitate knowing when they are going to graduate and be carrying around not a home mortgage, but $200,000-  worth of education inside both sections of their brain when through with college.

So why have we, a major sector of American society been forgotten I ask all you presidential candidates? In addition, those like myself whom are permanently disabled students, living on the extremely meager existence of Social Security Income in America, having defaulted on their GSL loans, now legally (according to a recent law passed by the Supreme Court in America several years ago), have their Social Security Administration Income garnished up to 15%, in order to repay their GSL loans.

While every other sector of society can find some sought of loan forgiveness in America, even if it comes to claiming full out Bankruptcy, we cant ever! Why I ask all of you Presidential hopefuls? Every All type of debt and/or loans in the United States of America can be legally forgiven and forgotten easily in some way or another in America, but Federal Student Loans !

I will vote for the first presdesential candidate that brings up and gets serious about student loan forgiveness.
