    Your best group Halloween costume

    Wizard of Oz

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Alihiss and her friends love doing group costumes for Halloween. They chose to be characters from the Wizard of Oz for Halloween 2008 because it 'is a classic story with many characters to pull from.' She says it took 'about a month of several sleepless nights to pull this together. I made 16 of the 17 costumes myself with help here and there from family and friends. The costumes are all homemade either sewn from scratch or pieced together from thrift store finds. Making these costumes is a true labor of love.'
    - jne2013, CNN iReport producer

The pictures don't really do the costumes justice. Seventeen costumes from the Wizard of Oz complete with the Wicked Witch of the West and East, Glinda, Dorothy, Lion, Tin Man, Scarecrow, an Emerald City, a Field of Poppies, Two Flying Monkeys, Two 6' tall Munchkins, sepia toned Auntie Em and Uncle Henry, and a Tornado.  They were all hand made and a ton of fun to wear!
