    NUN-CHUCK!

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JaseMe516 and his partner Jeremy Kidd really wanted to do a couples costume after Jeremy proposed on a business trip a few weeks before Halloween 2010. 'We really wanted to do [...] something a little more original than “Bert and Ernie”. Jeremy came up with the idea of nun chucks while we were souvenir shopping in Hong Kong.'

They went to extremely creative lengths to make this costume happen: 'Jeremy and I were set on the idea of being attached the whole evening via a chain link. We didn’t want to use a real metal chain for obvious reasons so we did some searching online and came across a website that sold chain links in every size and color one could imagine.' They chose a hollow chain, cut it, tied each end of the chain to thin, plastic hairbands and finished it off with metallic looking headbands.

'We had the best costume all evening (if I do say so myself),' JaseMe516 says. 'We received non stop compliments from random people on the streets and from friends at house parties [...].'

NUN-CHUCKS! Now if only one of us had the ability to do a propeller spin. Hmmmm, what would Chuck Norris do?
