    Snow pumpkin for power-out Halloween 2011

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     frogshooter says the power went out in her town of Westford, Massachusetts on Sunday night around 8pm, and a lot of the town is still without power due to the weather. 'No heat, no lights, no computer or internet (the worst!). I was one of the lucky last ones to get a hotel room within a reasonable driving distance.'

    It took her around three hours to make this pumpkin, and she 'just wanted to leave something silly behind to give some positive spirit to my gloomy street.' She says it was around 40 degrees when she made the pumpkin on Sunday.

    With 5 inches of awesomely sticky snow on the driveway the day before Halloween, and nothing to do inside the house (no power, no heat, no computer, no TV... this seemed like a good way to pass the time and give some smiles to passers-by.
