TOURNEAU “TURNS BACK THE CLOCKS” FOR STANDARD TIME!

November 2011, New York, NY: If you want to turn back the hands of time ...turn to Tourneau’s in New York City.

In anticipation of Daylight Saving Time ending, which officially happens at 2:00 AM on Sunday, November 6, renown watch retailer Tourneau began its colossol “turn-back-the-clock” initiative wherein a battalion of white-gloved time technicians reset thousands of clocks at their flagship store in New York City.

Tourneau resets hundreds of thousands of watches for Standard Time in all its outlets. At the legendary Tourneau “Time Machine” in mid-town Manhattan, over 1,000 “time” technicians set more than 8,000 watches back one-hour - a process which commences on Friday and does not “wind down” until Sunday. Customers from around the world venture to Tourneau for service and a free time change!

Time conscious commuters, shoppers, tourists, and local residents looked on in amazement as the tireless technicians literally  “turned back time” on a wide array of time pieces ranging from wristwatches to desk clocks to grandfather clocks and more.

As thousands of street walkers witnessed Tourneau’s time changing marathon they gave thought to what they would do in their lives “if they could turn back time” and what they plan to do with their extra hour theynow have.

Tourneau will do this all again next Spring when we turn the clocks forward.  Tourneau Inc. was established in 1900 and is based in the United States.

The CNN iReport asked Alyonka Larionov to go out to the streets of NYC to find out why so many people really do not have the time...
