Cops Shoot A Cameraman In Occupy Oakland

A camera man shooting scenes from the occupy Oakland movement was shot by a police officer with a rubber bullet. I could describe the incident for you, but you can just watch it at the link

This is why people are growing combative. This cameraman was doing nothing wrong, he was not threatening police in any manner, and was over 20 years away from the police line when he was shot with the rubber bullet. This video proves we are entering into a police state throughout the nation. Peaceful protesters are being shot with tear gas, and rubber bullets. Some are being tazed all while excersising their Constitutional rights to a peaceful protest.

More and more rights are being stripped away from Americans each and everyday, and all in the name of security. I ask you, where was the threat presented by this camera man? There wasn't one. This police officer should be fire, arrested, charged with assault and battery and placed in a jail cell. The police department should be sued for a clear misuse of force, and a violation of the reporter's constitutional rights.

How many more people are going to have to be injured, or killed before the government sees we are headed to a situation such as Egypt has seen?
