    Thanks For A Job Working From Home

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Jean Lindsay works from home in Geneseo, New York. She says she is "truly grateful for companies that have a work from home component" because she has seen "first hand how it has benefited not only so many workers with disabilities, etc. but has benefited the company as well in garnering really dedicated workers." What are you thankful for? Share your story.

    As an older worker, trying to get to work outside my home is stressful in extreme heat or cold of winter; costs additional time and money to drive to another location; and is hazardous in negotiating snow and ice in winter.

    I work for a good company for a good hourly wage and it has solved all of the above problems. Think of the benefit to workers who are housebound because of chronic illness or child care. These productive workers are able to not only help themselves but benefit our society.

    BIG thanks to companies that invest in work from home programs.
