    Australian Bushfire Disaster Update

An out of control bushfire which has already destroyed more than 30 houses in the Margaret River region is now threatening the town of Margaret River.

The Margaret River hospital and nursing home have been evacuated.

More houses are expected to be impacted by fire soon.

Jetskis were used to move about 30 people stranded at Prevelly beach to safety.

Six water bombers, including two helicopters and four planes are tackling the fire.

The fire has crossed Margaret River and is traveling through Gnarabup to Redgate.

More than 500 firefighters are fighting the fire from the ground.

The bushfire is still out of control and dangerous.
