Occupy Salt Lake City - Really Really Free Market

Through the movement many have found that their true needs are far less than once believed. I spent the afternoon with many from the Occupy group at Pioneer Park visiting the "Really Really Free Market" where you give and you get and it is all FREE. The complete anti-Black Friday.

My daughters and I dropped off a super sized basket full of bath products that had been sitting around the home since they were given to me last year. We opened up the basket with the intention of letting people take piece by piece, within seconds of opening the basket up the entire set was gone.

I hope this becomes a tradition. My family has far more than we need and I will gladly give it all to the Really Really Free Market.

At the market there was also music, fresh fruit, and even hair cuts. The true spirit of the holiday season was captured in this event, the spirit of GIVING.
