He says: 'I enjoy nature photography and videography as a hobby. But going to the park each weekend is less about taking pictures/video, and more about having an excuse to get out into something that resembles nature for a brief moment in time.'

He explains: 'I grew up near Greenbelt Park and have been going down there for the past 25+ years. I've watched as surrounding cornfields and gravel roads have quickly turned into strip-malls and housing developments. Luckily, Greenbelt and several of the other local parks have done well. [...] I'm concerned that, as climate change begins to redraw the agricultural landscape, conservation and preservation will become less of a priority as a growing world tries to feed 7+ billion people. '
