Beautiful Koh Samui
We took a great family vacation to Koh Samui, Thailand, this November. This lush, resort friendly island is surrounded by beautiful beaches. In the middle sit majestic hills lined with coconut groves and tranquil waterfalls.
The weather was a perfect 80 degrees and sunny, and we spent most of our time lounging by the pool, visiting the spa and combing the beach, but we did manage to leave the resort a few times.
The highlight was an adventure package with a local outfit. They picked us up in safari-style jeeps and drove us all over the island. We rode elephants, held monkeys, swam underneath a waterfall, shopped at a local market and ate lots of yummy Thai cuisine.
It was pretty magical.
