Sergeant Major of the Army visits Fort Campbell
Sergeant Major of the Army Raymond Chandler visited Fort Campbell as well as Blanchfield Army Community Hospital. Chandler met with hospital leaders and Soldiers which gave him the opportunity to see how medics and licensed practical nurses in the Army help take care of their fellow Soldiers and
their Families.
At the Warrior Resiliency and Recovery Center, Sgt. Jeremy Cole explained to the Sergeant Major of the Army how Soldiers being treated for mild traumatic brain injuries build confidence in the final phase of the Military Functional Assessment Program. Soldiers like SGT Cole help fellow Soldiers heal with the aid of proven science and technological advances.
SMA Chandler also had the opportunity to promote a Warrior Transition Battalion Soldier during his tour of their new Complex. Staff Sgt. Nicholas Christensen said he was proud to have the highest ranking non commissioned officer in the Army perform the promotion.
