A Tale of Two Different Dinners

It’s important to me as a parent that our family eats dinner together. I feel it stabilizes us and gives my husband and daughter a sense of security and family.

Right now is a bit tough because I’m having diet meals delivered for myself but am still cooking food for them. To avoid my own temptation, I’ve been taking a few shortcuts on their food, like with this Pork Noodle Bowl made with Ramen Noodles.

I wish I could get them involved in the making of meals, but it falls on me or they eat out. I feel it would benefit all of us if they were more involved in dinner preparation.

I don’t know how to make this happen, but a mom can dream, right?
