I owned my own company and paid hundreds of thousands of dollars in health insurance premiums for my employees. I'm very fortunate to have sold my company for millions. Ironically when I finished my employment contract I started looking for health insurance thinking I would have no issue at all. Well was I surprised when I was turned down for health insurance by multiple insurance companies due to having slightly elevated cholesterol. I think we should all be supporting the pre-existing insurance plan in the Health Reform Act. Even the wealthiest people in America can be turned down for health insurance coverage. In the end I got coverage due to a law in the State of Florida that said one carrier had to take me. This was not in every state. There were several months of not knowing if our family would have coverage. For all the naysayers who are saying Obama Care is bad for the country, I can tell you from personal experience that they are all kidding themselves. I'm rich with a family of 6 and we pay $35,000 a year in health insurance premiums. Who can afford that. So please tell your friends about the attached link that can't get health insurance due to pre-existing conditions. Nothing is perfect in life, but this one aspect of Obama Care could save millions of lives. My sister-in-law with a heart condition just signed up and now she may survive because she has health insurance. See link below to tell your friends and family.
