5.12.2011 Protests in Moscow against the falsification of the elections

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     IKruchkova, a photographer living in Moscow, says thousands gathered at the square of Chistye Prudy last night to protest the results of the Russian parliamentary election. 'People were mainly informed through the Internet, a lot of bloggers, middle class, mainly young from 20 to 35 to 40 years. Huge amount of people, very unusual for any protests here for many years, more than 5,000. Shouting 'It's a shame', 'Putin is thief', 'Putin go away', 'The elections were won by falsification but in march it will be worse it we do nothing' and so on,' she said.

CNN International's 'Connect the World' recently talked with IKruchkova about the protests -- check out her December 6 interview here.
