Guyana Police Force Fire shots at Peaceful Protesters

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     shizzlekid submitted this video from December 6 of the aftermath of police actions against protesters in Georgetown, Guyana. He said the police 'harassed the protesters and told them that what they are doing is illegal, they need to seek permission from them to protest, "and if you do request permission we will deny it." As the protesters approached the barricade the police opened fire on them using pellets and rubber bullets.'
    - jmsaba, CNN iReport producer

December 06, 2011, as APNU supporters all gathered for a "March For Social Justice and Economic Boycott" in the streets of Georgetown, Guyana to exercise their democratic rights, they were interrupted and threatened by ranks of the Guyana Police force who treated them in an inhumane manner and then opened fire on a few innocent by passers and civilians. The question remains......will justice ever be served and can we actually live as One People, One Nation, One Destiny? May God Bless Guyana.
