    My husband and I were married in February. In January, I was moving into what was to become our apartment after the wedding. For Christmas that December, my future husband gave me paper towels, toliet paper and a shower curtain for the apartment.

    My sister-in-law received diamond earrings from his brother. When I commented on this he said, very practically, "But your ears aren't pierced."

    Ah, the warnings signs that love hides.
