    An Air Force Family Tradition

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GrizAF says setting up the light display is a year-long process. He and his wife started designing the light display and selecting the music in the spring and begin programming the show to music in the summer. The building and set-up process takes about four days.
    - katie, CNN iReport producer

(August Burns Red - Carol of the Bells) Each year we go slightly overboard with Christmas lights. This tradition was started for my son's first Christmas in the hopes that we could create something unique and memorable to carry on throughout our years together. This year, we strung nearly 35,000 lights on our home in Tucson, AZ. Our display features colored arches, a candy-striped yard, and Santa Claus all lit up -- peaking out of a chimney, of course! We encourage and accept donations for the US Marines' Toys for Tots drive to benefit children here in Tucson. So far this year, we've received over 100 toys. We've really come to enjoy this tradition; it's something we look forward and work toward ALL YEAR LONG!
