An Air Force Family Tradition (2)

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GrizAF says 35,000 lights and a half-mile of extension cord connected to a computer 'is all the technology we need' for their light show, synchronized to six different songs. He and his wife have already begun the planning stages for next year's show, considering 'a dancing fountain and snow machine as possible additions!'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

(Toby Mac - Little Drummer Boy) Each year we go slightly overboard with Christmas lights. This tradition was started for my son's first Christmas in the hopes that we could create something unique and memorable to carry on throughout our years together. This year, we strung nearly 35,000 lights on our home in Tucson, AZ. Our display features colored arches, a candy-striped yard, and Santa Claus all lit up -- peaking out of a chimney, of course! We encourage and accept donations for the US Marine's Toys for Tots drive to benefit children here in Tucson. So far this year, we've received over 100 toys. We've really come to enjoy this tradition; it's something we look forward and work toward ALL YEAR LONG!
