Large Crib made of recycled material
Form 1, Boys Secondary School students of St Clare College, Sliema, Malta have for the last five weeks together with their Arts and Design teacher Carmel Agius been busy building a large crib made of recycled material.
They wanted to learn to work together to design and build a big work of art, celebrate the birth of Christ and look after the environment and at the same time share their effort with all those who pass by the school as the crib is mounted onto the façade of the building.
The crib is made of the cardboard box of the recently delivered interactive whiteboards for the school. Branches of the trees around the school that were pruned were also used.
