Daughter sings Jingle Bells to her dad in Iraq.

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     abby2582's daughter was talking with her father, a civilian contractor in Iraq, over Skype. Since he couldn't be there for her first preschool Christmas pageant, she sang this rendition of "Jingle Bells" for him. 'Although the war in Iraq is over I don't want anyone to forget the many hard-working Americans who will remain there and continue to put their lives on the line every day,' abby2582 said. 'Civilian contractors, most of them being Veterans themselves, deserve just as much recognition as the military men and women do.'

This is my 5 year old daughter, Leinani, singing Jingle Bells to her dad who is a civilian contractor in Iraq. Daddy won't be able to make it to her first school Christmas program, so she sang her songs to him over the computer. I hope this is a reminder that although the military is leaving Iraq there will remain many Americans doing jobs that keep us all safe and free.
