Christmas Organ made of Recyled Material

This is a Giant Christmas Decoration in the shape of Pipe Organ. Me and my students at St Clare College, Girls Secondary School, Pembroke Malta decided to make this project with recycle material (aluminium printing sheets). The material itself is in the colour of silver metallic, We decided to built this Pipe Organ with many decorations perforated and many lights installed from the inside of this decoration. You can also hear the organ and piano music coming from the inside of this Christmas Decoration.
The recycle material came in small sheets. We cut many stars and bells by using a craft knife on the aluminium printing sheets. I turned the sheets into a half rounded shape with the decorations perforated. I put many half rounded columns one to each other with various sizes to form the pipe organ. The material itself is very thin and light.. It is difficult to build a giant Christmas Decoration with this thin and light material because it is very high and very wide especially when you are going to place it outside on the roof of the school without collapsing, especially when the weather is bad. You can see it also from the street. The measurements are: width 7 metres and 9 metres high.
