    What makes your suburb unique?

    OPEN SPACE

What makes my suburb unique is all the open space it provides. We're really a suburb of a suburb. Castle Rock is a suburb of Denver about 40 miles south of the mile high city. Our neighborhood Bell Mountain Ranch, at 4 miles south of Castle Rock is it's own municipality. The homes are on large lots with utilities underground to enhance the fantastic views. The neighborhood is next to a working ranch with cattle roaming about. We have our share of wildlife, with bears, deer, coyotes, and elk passing thru. It's a great place for dogs, kids, and middle aged folks like myself. After spending most of my life living in the densely populated OC area of Southern California it has been nice to see what it's like to live the country life.
