Globe Should Assist a North Korean Uprising

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     liereport, 27, a web developer in New York City, was excited when he heard the news of Kim Jong Il's death 'because I know how horrible he has been to the people of his country, and I see this as an opportunity for real change in the region. I think we need to take whatever actions we can. Ideally that would not include military intervention, but if so I think we should seize this chance to free an imprisoned people, cut off from the rest of the world, starving, and unable to get out.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

With Kim Jong-il dead, now would be an opportune time for the global community to help pull North Korea out of the poverty-stricken state it has been in and topple the horrid regime they've been living under. Supporting political uprisings there would be in everyone's best interest, so we don't just see more of the same out there. More isolation, more starvation, more misery.
