    CNN Fit Nation: Triathlon Challenge

Tried long enough ready for Doathlon

My name is Glenn Keller and I'm 51 years old. I'm the owner operator of a tractor trailer and founder of Making A Difference Ministries. I would love to be a part of CNN's Team. As Founder of Making A Difference Ministries 7 days a week 3 times a day I host a prayerline that allows me to pray with and encourage people from around the country. I always end by letting everyone know that the Bible says we are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, how we can have the victory over the obstacles in our lives and we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. All that and here I sit about 130lbs overweight. I don't think you could find a bigger hyporcrite any where. Definetly not bigger! What I'm doing is not linning up with what I'm saying. I really need to practice what I preach. I speak to children that are as young as 5 and seniors always upbeat, always encouraging while jepordizing my own personal health by being this fat. As being the founder of Making A Difference Ministries I would like to continue to make a difference in the lives of people for a long time to come but no one would ever be able to tell by how I have taken care of my own weight and health issues. I know I can do this. I need to do this. Just reading about the Triatholon has caused me to change my eating habits. I picked up a pair of running shoes and when I get home that bike that has been in the garage is getting ready to go back in service. That is going to happen wether I am selected or not. Reading the stories made me realize how important this is. My weight has caused me to have sleep apnea and I use a CPAP machine when I sleep. If I'm selected for the team can we have a funeral for that thing because I will not be needing it any longer. Please allow me to warn you that if I am selected to be on the team I am bringing a lot of people with me. Not to worry. I conduct the prayer line everyday using a cell phone and we also broadcast over the interned via talkshoe.com. So other than the swimming portion and if it wouldn't violate any rules I want to have that headset on that I use everyday to encourage others so that they can become my encouragement. I'm sure my entire facebook family will be waiting for the next post. So there will be a bunch us but no need to worry about meals or accomodations. I will be 52 years old in Jully 2012 this would truely be the chance of a lifetime however it is also a chance to change my life and my health. Thank you in advance for considering all of us and we would be eternally greatful if chosen to be in the DO-atholon. www.glennkeller.net/
