PEACE in the Middle East in 2012
There's 1 hr left in this year and it's been a year of "change" in the Middle East...with uprisings, conflict, violence and even martyrdom. As we have seen here, change can be brought about by one person. My prayer for the New Year is that of St. Francis of Assisi which says,
“Lord, make me an instrument of your peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy."
