Ringing in 2012 watching Time square simultaneously on CNN, NBC and ABC

2011 has been an extraordinary year with extensive travel and 1000s of new images from 26 cities and 6 countries. So when CNN advertised their New Year's eve show, with Anderson Cooper and Kathy G, I decided that I was going to watch the Time square festivities from the comfort of my gym close to home with 4 different TV monitors switched on to CNN, NBC, ABC and CBS. I began watching at about 11.25 pm on December 31, 2011 at the end of a sunny day with a spectacularfinal sunset of the year around 5.30pm, a nice meal with family around 7pm. CNN coverage until midnight was not the greatest with Kathy drawing attention to herself by removing her winter coat and exposing herself to the millions of viewers (image 1). All AC could do was giggle and blush and keep asking K to wear her clothes. Luckily for me I had other channels I could watch simultaneously (image 2) and get close up of the heavy ball with its millions lights (image 3), there were several singers on NBC, ABC covered lady gaga in her unusual outfit (image 4) as usual and then what is Time square without Dick Clark(image 5) and ABC had him say a few words. Then NBC covered Lady Gaga and Mayor Bloomberg press the button to get the ball rolling into the New Year (image 5). As soon as the ball dropped CNN began its flashy coverage with some spectacular images (6-9) of the Time square and captured the movement for me watching the images in a gym and the millions of people who rang in the new year by watching the events at Time square from the comfort of their homes. Finally I would like to share the image of the sunset in the final days of 2011 with the calendar Hoping for Happy and Healthy 2012 (image 10) for all of humankind..
