Writing a Novel, One Blog Post at a Time
This past week a new blog entitled Free2Write hit the internet full force, seemingly ready to take down all other “weblog” competitors. You might think to yourself, “Why is this blog so different from the others?” Well, this particular site will chronicle the day-by-day story of a thirteen year-old writing his very first book. Although he is un-named (choosing refer to himself as C.A.L. throughout the site), readers will instantly feel a connection, and want to know about the end result; whether or not he is going to make it. A Google Plus profile also went up for the blog this week, titled C.A.L.’s Profile. The social media account was made to go along with the site, a way for the author to update his progress in short sentences, as apposed to his website’s lengthy posts.
