    Paul wins Black Hawk County

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Anelia shot this video of official vote-counting at the Black Hawk County caucus in Cedar Falls, Iowa, for the 2012 GOP primary contest. 'I thought it was fitting that at the stump in town and in his speech last night Romney framed his bid for the presidency in patriotic lyrics, a stark contrast with Santorum's little-truck-that-could,' she said.

Cedar Falls Councilman Nick Taiber made a passionate pitch to the Republicans of Black Hawk County on Tuesday to pick their candidate for the GOP nomination.

“In 2008, I became inspired by Ron Paul,” he said afterwards, revising the ad-libbed remarks he gave at the caucus. “I became convinced that you can be a force for change and governance and he inspire me to get involved locally.”

When the ballots were finally counted, the number four candidate on the green ballot became the number one choice of the county—Ron Paul.
