Columbia University Offers OWS Class
http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/manhattan/columbia_offers_occupy_PKetTw1QSVVk23BllNN0DL
The course will require enrolled students to get involved in an OWS project outside the classroom.
While this sounds interesting, I wonder how this will prepare students for gainful employment once they graduate from college.
With there being such a high price tag on higher education these days, can students really waste their precious education dollars on a class like this?
Maybe there is more value to the class that I am able to discern or maybe this course speaks volumes about why the kids graduating from college are not prepared to compete for the available jobs in our nation.
