    Record breaking high temps in Minnesota today Jan 5 2012

    Normal temperatures at this time in NE Minnesota is 15F and today's highs I recorded on my phone was 46 degrees

    I just took this photo on my iPhone and it's still registers 45F

    Record breaking highs in

    Hibbing 45F (39F recorded in 1984)

    Duluth 48F (40F in 1984)

    Rochester 55(30F in 1930)

    Twin cities missed the record by only couple of degrees .. Reaching 45F and missing the 47F which dates backs to 1885.
