    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Akata shot these photos of protesters in Lagos, Nigeria, demonstrating against the recent removal of a fuel subsidy, and the resulting spike in gas prices. He says that Nigerians have lost faith in their government, and have mobilized to replace it and reinstate the fuel subsidy. He cites corruption in government and the need for improved infrastructure as some of the main reasons behind the continuing protests.
