    No retreat, no surrender

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Akindeji, a Christian pastor in Abuja, Nigeria, recorded this video of protesters marching in the streets as part of a national general strike. 'I believe God will stand with the poor and oppressed of the land rather than stand with the oppressors and the rich, I believe a peaceful protest is also a fundamental right and a civil responsibility, to hold the ruling class accountable,' he said. 'My protest is not because of me. I can afford to buy fuel at the new price, but my poor folks that I work with cannot survive it.'
    - jmsaba, CNN iReport producer

I am a young phd candidate and a christian church pastor in the city of abuja, who have decided to side with the masses against the ruling class, to side with the poor against the rich, and to side with the oppressed against the oppressors. We will not blink, we will force the government to do the wish of the people. This is day 2 of the occupy movement, and we are ready for several months of occupation.
