    Drilling for Water in Africa

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mtg176 shot these photos of an ongoing missionary project to drill for clean drinking water in Ezulwini, Swaziland. 'I sat and watched the children until the drillers struck water,' he said. 'They knew what this meant: Fresh, clean, safe water that would not make them sick. They were jumping and dancing with excitement! It is an awesome privilege for me to serve in this great land.'
    - jmsaba, CNN iReport producer

In the village of Matsetsa, Swaziland, most folks get their water from watering holes infiltrated with cattle. The water is muddy and heavily laden with agents that cause ill health. The people here experience wide spread diarrhea and fainting spells due to water borne illnesses.

With the financial aid of donors, we were able to bless this village with a new well. We expected to drill up to 120m but struck water at just 65m!

What fun it was to watch the children leaping, dancing and singing as water came gushing out of the hole!
