Taiwan's Election Eve, Jan 13, 2012
By NEAL MOORE (CNN iReport) TAIPEI --- I visited the pan-blue ruling KMT Rally for current president Ma Ying-jeou on Ketagalan Boulevard in front of the Presidential Office in Taipei City and the pan-green opposition Democratic Progressive Party Rally for presidential candidate Tsai Ing-wen out front her National Campaign Headquarters in New Taipei City, BanCiao District. It was interesting to see what the young and old had to say – both parties optimistic for tomorrow’s presidential vote, which observers from Beijing to Washington will be closely watching.
