    Chinese Soldier at the Tiananmen Gate

    I snapped this shot of a Chinese soldier standing guard in front of Mao Zedong's portrait at the Tiananmen Gate at the entrance to the Forbidden City in Beijing, China. Typically the guards and soldiers "discourage" picture taking of them by foreigners, as happened to me at another location, so I was glad to get a good, clean shot.
