    Romanian protests turn violent

    Bucharest, ROMANIA: Hundreds of people are demonstrating in University Square from Bucharest, Romania. They demand the resignation of president Traian Basescu. The protests expanded throughout the whole country, mainly in the largest cities of Romania: Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara, Targu Mures, Craiova and others. The protests turned violent tonight after 7:30 PM (local time) in Bucharest.
