This iReport is part of an assignment:
Sarah Palin's political future |
Bristol Palin
As much as we would love to say that if Gov Palin can not run her own home, how can she run the country, we must accept that parents can not be everywhere all the time. I have great Christian valued parents, and I still became pregnant as a teen. My parents did not have control over me all the time, as I am sure Mrs. Palin does not have her children within arm's reach all the time either. However, her 17 yr old daughter becoming pregnant is an outcry that Gov Palin, as a mother should recognize. Her kids need her. Obviously, her job as Gov of Alaska took her away from her children to some extent, and if this is not an outcry for help, I dont know what is. Mrs Palin needs to step back, and reevaluate this situation. As a mom, I could not ever see myself running for VP if my teen daughter were pregnant, and I knew she needed me.
