Olivia Munn "Who Needs Fur to Be Beautiful?"
Recently, Actor Olivia Munn joined PETA's anti fur campaign, "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur." Munn unveiled a poster which revealed a bit more than the billboard located on Beverly Blvd., in Los Angeles, California.
The billboard, Who Needs Fur to be Beautiful?, is one that Munn is proud of. "Rather than telling people what to think, it asks the question", Munn said. The billboard will undoubtably catch the attention of those passing by.
This isn't the first time that Munn has posed nude to draw attention to animal cruelty. In 2010, she joined forces with PETA to Boycott the Circus. Munn said, "Elephants have an extra special place in my heart because of my Chinese history, where elephants represent good luck" Allegedly, elephants in the circus endure a life of abuse and cruelty, beaten with bull hooks to perform.
Munn joins a growing group of celebrities who have posed nude for PETA's anti fur campaign, Eva Mendes, Charlize Theron, Lea Michele, and Christina Applegate are among those who feel passionate about the ban against fur and the fur trade industry.
When not campaigning with furry friends, Munn finds time to entertain. Intelligent and witty, Munn's list of accomplishments as an actor is growing to include: corespondent for the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Iron Man 2, Date Night, I Don't Know How She Does it, and Magic Mike which will be released in the summer of 2012. She will also be in HBO's upcoming series The Newsroom.
Olivia Munn is busy making us laugh and at the same time, drawing attention to serious matters, the human treatment of animals.
