Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) A Corporate Power Grab Via Government

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     EWillies1961 says that SOPA would cause bloggers and websites to limit themselves even if they're not doing anything that's necessarily illegal. [Note: CNN is owned by Time Warner, which is among industry supporters of SOPA.]
    - rachel8, CNN iReport producer

I have a radio show called Politics Done Right on Coffee Party USABlogTalkRadio in which we discuss much of this. There are many movements to reform government that are virtual; Internet based. In several programs I tell the audience that the Corporations will be coming for the Internet next. And how do they do that? They use government and the pretext of piracy to shut a site down. The problem is that they need no actually do that as just the threat and the potential legal costs and other ramification will change behavior and force bloggers like myself and others to be very careful in not putting anything up that could be used as a false reason to shut down however temporary. Every American must fight for the defeat of this.
