The end of an era: Dublin Dr. Pepper
Every now and then we witness what happens when the unmovable object goes head to head with the with an unstoppable force. Drive two hours, from Dallas, down hwy 67 to the Dublin Dr. Pepper bottling plant and you will find the unmovable object, a family owned plant with a 121 year heritage. Go North to Plano based Dr Pepper Snapple company and there you will encounter the unstoppable force, welding a desire to keep it’s brand pure. With the Dublin brand logo coming down, the unstoppable force has made a move, However, the unmovable object has a facebook page and maybe a syndicated radio program on it’s side ready to boycott the large parent company, hoping to cut some revenue as a protest of this action. As of now unmovable object has been dislodged, but we haven’t seen how stoppable is the unstoppable force.
